What we learn in research makes our client work better. Client problems drive our research questions. The work informs itself.

Founder
Ali Madad
Design leader and AI engineer working at the intersection of designing desirable futures, AI research and alignment, and social, cultural, and civic impact.
He develops open-source AI projects investigating novel UI/UX patterns and studies dark patterns as part of the Software Safety Standards Panel at Internet Safety Labs. His practice spans strategy, systems design, and safety.
Previously, Ali held creative leadership roles at Havas, Deloitte Digital, Razorfish, Rockwell Group, and Ogilvy—leading work recognized with five design patents and awards from Cannes, The One Club, Effies, and the Webbys.
Ali taught at Pratt Institute for eight years, UT Austin, and Cooper Union. He holds an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art.
A Board-Certified Patient Advocate, Ali is an advisor to A Better Goodbye and a mentor at I AM ALS, applying his practice to caregiving, end-of-life, and health AI.
